Performance
The "Performance" tab within your preferences is provided for advanced JPEGCompress users. Within this area you can turn performance and compatability options on or off.
- Disable Image Dithering on 8 Bit (256 Color) Displays
This option will prevent an image from being dithered on displays with color settings of 256 colors or lower. Disabling this setting will have no effect on displays with more than 256 colors. - Disable Real-Time Updating on the Quality Level Slider
This option will prevent the image from being updated while you drag the Quality Level Slider left or right. It will only update the image after the mouse is up and a Quality Level has been choosen. - Disable "Corrupt Image" alert when Batch Processing
This option will prevent the "Corrupt Image" alert while the Batch Processing Wizard is processing your images. Use this option only if skipping a corrupt image is ok.
